Charity of the Year

If your company is considering adopting us as their Charity of the Year we would love to hear from you. We can discuss the ways your company and Seashell Trust can work together to achieve a truly successful partnership.

There is so much to be gained by forming a relationship with a local charity, please see below for some of the great reasons why your company should support Seashell Trust and how we will both benefit from the partnership.

Why Support Us

Seashell Trust is open 365 days a year and is extremely costly to run. Many of the students need one-on-one round-the-clock care from highly trained and dedicated staff.

The staff at Seashell Trust work to ensure that the best possible care is given to our students. We have a national reputation for the care and attention we give to our children and young people, with students coming from all over the country. Our recent recognition from Ofsted which acknowledged the Royal School Manchester as ‘outstanding’ demonstrates the commitment our staff have.

The care and education of our students is funded by fees from local authorities, but we desperately need to raise more funds to ensure that we provide the best facilities and life experiences.

The funds you raise enable us to buy and replace old items, to pay for day trips and activities, to establish projects and to develop our first rate services. You can be assured that every penny you donate enhances the lives of the children, young people and adults here at the Seashell Trust.

  • Your company can make a very real difference to the lives of some of society’s most vulnerable children and young people.
  • Your support will raise the profile of the Seashell Trust and your company by generating creative press & PR opportunities.
  • The support you give will be visible at a local level; our charity has a developing profile and are well supported in the community.
  • As a dynamic and growing charity your company can have a real impact on our work.
  • Children and disability are amongst the top 5 causes identified as important to consumers by Business In The Community.
  • We have both short-term and long-term projects that employees can help shape and develop.
  • We can provide enjoyable and worthwhile volunteering opportunities for your employees.
  • We will provide you with a single point of contact in the fundraising team who understands what you want to achieve.
