Students at Royal College Manchester work towards a mixture of accredited and non accredited targets depending on the agreed priorities identified at the start of their course. All students have agreed long term goals identified during their initial assessment.
Qualifications delivered at the college are based on Foundation Learning
Students may work towards;
Entry Level Award for Life Skills (EDEXEL)
Entry Level Certificate for Life Skills (EDEXCEL)
Award for Supported Work Skills (EDEXCEL)
Students also have the opportunity to gain the MENCAP Gateway Award for Life Skills- this award is an adapted award for people with learning difficulties based on the Duke of Edinburgh Award and complements the Social and Creative programme in the residential programme.
