Brandon’s main career was spent as Chief Financial Officer at Manchester based PZ Cussons Plc where he worked for 21 years leaving in 2019. PZC was a large international business with 5000 employees and as one of only two executives Brandon effectively acted as Deputy CEO. He led many projects outside of finance particularly people orientated initiatives that focused on culture, values, recruitment and retention.

Brandon has always had a passion for helping Seashell and other organisations that have a strong social purpose.  He has been involved with Seashell for over 14 years most notably as Chair of the Appeal Board which has successfully raised funds for the residential houses and current campus development.

Brandon is as much at home helping the public on the front line as he is in the board room. He trained and qualified as a Community First Responder for North West Ambulance and devotes many evenings and weekends attending the most serious 999 calls giving lifesaving first aid before the ambulance arrives.

During the Covid pandemic, as well as devoting additional time to the ambulance service, Brandon trained and worked as a Covid vaccinator.

Brandon is a board member of TripleC (the BAFTA award winning disabled led arts organisation who have been running workshops at Seashell for many years) and is a school governor at Manchester Grammar School who have 250 pupils receiving SEN support.

In his spare time, Brandon enjoys spending time with family, gardening, trying to keep fit and occasionally trying his best as an amateur magician and actor!
