Ian joined the Royal College Manchester Governing Body in June 2017 having now fully retired from practicing as a Solicitor in Manchester for over 40 years .
Ian has held a part time judicial appointment in civil work since 1982 including family and children work . The children work included care proceedings.
Ian’s deceased wife was a teacher and he has 2 children and 6 grandchildren. His interests are mainly sporting , cricket still being a major part and he even manages to play on occasion.
