Corporates

Seashell Trust has a number of corporate supporters. Partnering with local businesses is vital to ensure we continue to provide the children, young people and adults in our care with the very best facilities and life experiences possible.

Our corporate partners are from a variety of industries and support Seashell Trust in a range of ways; by adopting us as their Charity of the Year, through Payroll Giving, by sponsorship of a new facility or piece of equipment, or by organising an event – there are so many ways your company can get involved.

You will see that building a corporate relationship with Seashell Trust is rewarding to both parties – you will be playing a vital role in enhancing our students lives and you will be benefitting your community as a whole; in return you will raise your profile positively and effectively, and boost motivation with your employees.

We would love to hear from you if you are considering partnering with a charity so we can discuss the real benefits of being involved with a truly great cause here at Seashell Trust.

Below are some of the ways you and your company can get involved with supporting Seashell Trust.

Charity of the Year

We would love the opportunity to be nominated as your Charity of the Year, if you have a charity committee at your company please do consider putting our name forward.

Businesses are more and more embracing the impact they have on the community, environment, consumers and employees that they operate for. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is very important to companies, by forming a partnership with Seashell Trust, and making us your Charity of the Year, you will see first hand the positive part you can play.

See our Charity of the Year section for more information about how a corporate partnership with Seashell Trust will work.

Sponsorship

We are constantly improving and adapting our facilities and equipment. We have a never-ending ‘wish list’ of projects, which are suitable for sponsorship by individuals, organisations and companies. There are a range of deserving projects both small and large, short-term and long-term; specialist equipment such as hoists and adapted bikes for wheelchair users, equipping a sensory room for our multi-sensory impaired students or for a mini-bus to enable students to access the wider community are just some of the projects we are working towards.

Employee Fundraising

Our valued supporters help to contribute in a variety of unique ways, all with the aim of raising vital funds for the young people here at Seashell Trust. If your company is interested in organising an event we would be delighted to help in any way we can; ideas, planning, materials, posters, tickets and advertising.

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving means making a regular donation to Seashell Trust directly from your salary. You can donate either weekly or monthly. Every £1 you donate costs you just 78p because the donation is made before tax is deducted. You can stop or change your donation when you like, just tell your payroll department, giving them one month's notice. Contact your employer or the fundraising team for more information.

Donations

Whether your company makes a one-off donation or gives regularly, all your donations help us to continue to provide the excellent facilities and life experiences we are so proud of here at Seashell Trust. Your company can choose the amount they wish to give and how often they wish to give it – once, monthly, quarterly or annually. Donations can be made by cheque, Standing Order or at VirginMoneyGiving.

Gift Aid

Whenever you make a donation to Seashell Trust, remember to Gift Aid it! If you are a UK taxpayer, we can recover almost 30% in reclaimed tax to add to your gift. It doesn’t cost you a penny but it means that your donation can make an even bigger difference! Download our Gift Aid Declaration Form here.
