Sensory Processing Training Taster

Cost: £10

Seashell Trust's Therapy Outreach Services are offering a taster session which will explore sensory processing difficulties in children and young people.  Difficulties in this area can significantly impact on so many areas of everyday life, including self-care, play, communication, access to education, sleep and more.

This training aims to increase your knowledge and confidence in recognising sensory processing difficulties and coming up with ideas to offer support.  It’s ideal for teaching assistants, teachers and healthcare professionals, providing a basic understanding of the sensory systems and how they can contribute to challenges in daily life.  It will be led by a qualified Occupational Therapist who is a specialist in sensory processing.

The session will run on Tuesday 19th of March from 3.30pm until 4.30pm and again on Tuesday 26th of March, from 5.30pm until 6.30pm.

Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and are expected to be popular, so booking early is advised.
