We are thrilled to have been chosen as the charity partner for the fabulous Macclesfield Beer Festival this year. The event is aiming to raise £15,000 for a new pavilion, paved area, trampoline and adapted garden furniture for our new residential development so that all our children and young people can enjoy outdoor activities together.

Transition Event

This free workshop for parents around Stockport on transitions will include two presentations - one from a parent whose daughter is now in supported living, and one from speakers working in local authority teams Adult Social Care and Transition Social Work.

Stars Drama Academy Presents Charlie & The Chocolate Factory

Stars Drama Academy are holding a production of 'Charlie & The Chocolate Factory', based on the novel by Roald Dahl, with Cheadle & District's Rotary Club in aid of Seashell Trust.

The show will take place on Saturday April 29th, with performances at 2pm and 5pm, at the Peter Barkworth Theatre, Stockport College, SK1 3UQ.

DMLab North West Challenge Launch

29th April 2017

Royal College Manchester is taking part in the DMLab North West Challenge, bringing together disabled musicians and technologists to create innovative and accessible musical instruments.

Our team will be working on creating a saxophone that can be played using switches and compressed air! Other projects include a portable and bespoke controllers for sound art and live mixing, an air keyboard and an electric wheelchair one man band powered by self-sustaining eco-power sources

Stroke Information Workshop

In the UK, 1 in every 6 people will have a stroke. A stroke happens in the UK every 3 minutes 27 seconds. 

PIPS and Seashell Trust are bringing a free workshop on Wednesday 8th March, 10:00 - 12:00, to help you learn more about strokes, the fourth most common cause of death in the UK and second in the world.
