We specialise in offering personalised courses for students with sensory impairment or communication difficulties and severe/ profound learning difficulties. All students who come to Royal College Manchester choose us because they have no/ limited verbal communication skills.
We are a day and residential Independent Specialist College, with specialist learning environments, skilled teaching and residential staff and a full multi-disciplinary team including Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Audiologist and Nursing staff.

We use person centred thinking tools to help students to plan/ shape their course so that they can study elements that are important for them (promoting skills, understanding essential to develop independence, maintain their health and safety) and elements that are important to them (personal preferences that help students feel valued and content).
