HURST Score for Seashell Trust
Seashell Trust was delighted to accept a cheque for £3,850 from the team at Manchester Accountants HURST, who nominated them as their charity of the year in 2011.
Various fundraising has taken place, but by far the biggest was a football tournament that HURST organised amongst local businesses in the area.
Simon Brownbill of HURST said ‘We were delighted to work with such a worthy local cause and are so glad that the money we raised over the year will go to making sure that the young people in their care get the best opportunities possible. I’d recommend any other local businesses looking for a charity to support to consider helping this amazing place.’
Dominic Tinner, Director of Development at Seashell Trust added, ‘We are incredibly grateful to everyone at HURST for their hard work in not only helping us raise vital funds but also supporting us in spreading the word about the charity. We have a number of ways that the local business community could support us and would welcome the chance to talk to any companies considering adopting a charity.’
