Students at Seashell Trust were delighted this week when Santa dropped in with some goodies.

The visit was organised by Intellident whose UK Headquarters are in Cheadle Hulme. The team from Intellident brought along musical instruments and The Intellident Teamcreated a truly festive atmosphere for the students whilst Santa and his elves distributed gifts.

Seashell Trust helps children and young people who have some of the most complex needs and disabilities including deafness, blindness and autism along with physical disabilities and profound and multiple learning difficulties.  All students at Seashell also have some degree of significant brain damage and critically, all of them have little or no ability to communicate.

Jackie Hills, Head of Children’s Services at Seashell Trust said, ‘We are very grateful to Intellident for not only delivering presents for our residential students to open on Christmas Day, but also treating us to a real festive party, the highlight of which was definitely Santa giving out chocolatey treats to everyone. The students loved it.’

Andy Chadbourne, Marketing Director at Intellident added “As a local business it’s incredibly important that we are able to contribute to the community. We are absolutely delighted to have been able to support the Seashell Trust for the second year running with our Santa drop, which allows us to spread some festive cheer to charities around the Stockport area. A huge thank you to all our staff and suppliers who contributed time and gifts for the day – we literally couldn’t have done it without them.”
