1 Day Introduction to Supporting Children and Young People with FASD

We have co-created this one-day training course with the National Organisation for FASD as part of a project funded by the Department of Health.
The course is for professionals across Health, Education and Social Care who want to improve their awareness of FASD.
This course is quality endorsed by OCN (Open College Network).
Course content includes:
- Causes of FASD; its prevalence and terminology
- Identification of signs and symptoms across the lifespan that a person with FASD may display
- How to get a diagnosis
- Strategies for supporting a person with FASD, including voices from the FASD community
