Charlotte Neild, Level 3 LSA at Royal College Manchester, has challenged herself to roll with the punches and take part in a white-collar boxing event, all in support of Seashell.
Charlotte has worked at Seashell for the past nine years, and sees first-hand the challenges faced by students every day. “I wanted to challenge myself to step outside of my comfort zone, and white-collar boxing felt like the perfect mix of discipline, fitness and mental toughness,” said Charlotte.
“The best part of my role is the young adults, seeing them achieve goals, aspirations and overcoming challenges that might have seemed impossible.”

Charlotte has an eight-week training programme to complete before her match on the 11th April. “I’m giving it everything and pushing myself to my limits. Every session reminds me why I’m doing this – showing our learners and staff that pushing yourself can lead to amazing things!”
Every donation for Charlotte’s event will directly impact the children and young people at Seashell, providing opportunities, support and specialist equipment. “Choosing Seashell was an easy decision, because I know how far the money goes and how much of a difference it can make.”
