Partner with Seashell. Create measurable social value. Change young lives.
At Seashell, we collaborate with businesses to turn good intentions into life‑changing impact. Through purpose‑led partnerships, your support creates real opportunities for children and young people with complex disabilities while delivering meaningful social value for your organisation.
How your business can make a difference
Your company may be large or small, local or national. A staff team or the whole company may wish to get involved. Whatever you need, and however you can support, we’d love to partner with you.
Charity corporate partnerships are vital to Seashell to ensure we continue to provide the children and young adults we educate, care for and support at our special needs residential schools, Royal School Manchester and Royal College Manchester with the very best facilities and life experiences.
A dedicated member of our fundraising team will manage and develop the relationship with your company and offer as much support as you need to make our charity corporate partnership a true success.
Our mission is simple, to transform the young lives of those who have the have most complex disabilities, but this is only made possible thanks to our amazing supporters.
When we work with you and your team, we want it to be a partnership that benefits both parties. Fundraising and volunteering is a great way to motivate staff and provide a common focus, or goal for your organisation.

“It’s positively shaped our workplace culture”
Sanjay Mulchand DL is the CEO of Laltex Group. The team have been supporting Seashell for a number of years – fundraising, volunteering and offering work experience placements to our students. Some of our graduates are now paid employees at Laltex.
At Seashell, we see every partnership as a shared journey: a commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs, while also helping organisations build stronger, more socially responsible teams.
For businesses, the value of this collaboration runs deep. It inspires employees, strengthens inclusive practice, builds community connection, and shapes a workplace culture grounded in empathy,
purpose, and belonging. And critically, it leaves a legacy one that continues long after a volunteering day or fundraising event has ended.
Sanjay said: “Our partnership with Seashell Trust has developed into a purposeful and impactful collaboration, built on shared values and a commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for young people with learning disabilities and complex needs. What began through volunteering and fundraising has evolved into a supported employment initiative that provides structured, real-world workplace experience for Seashell students.
“At the heart of this collaboration is a person-centred approach. Working closely with Seashell, we focus on designing tailored roles aligned to each individual’s strengths, interests, and development goals. These roles are supported by appropriate workplace adjustments, mentoring, and team awareness to ensure students feel confident, supported, and able to contribute meaningfully. This approach ensures placements are sustainable, empowering, and focused on building long-term skills, independence, and confidence.
“Our commitment extends beyond the workplace. Laltex continues to support Seashell through fundraising, volunteering, and active participation in events that raise awareness and resources for the charity’s work.
“The partnership has also delivered measurable impact within our organisation. It has strengthened employee engagement, enhanced our understanding of inclusive employment practices, and positively shaped our workplace culture. Teams have gained greater awareness and confidence in supporting inclusive environments, while students’ focus, determination, and professionalism consistently challenge perceptions and inspire colleagues across the business.
“By embedding this partnership within our wider social impact activity, we are demonstrating how collaboration between business and the charitable sector can create tangible opportunities, support inclusive employment, and deliver lasting benefits for individuals, organisations, and the wider community.”

Volunteering, becoming a charity partner or taking part in our fundraising events are just a few of the many ways you can get involved. Team Building and PR
Looking for ways to engage teams? Seeking some good news stories to put out to the press? We’d love to work with you.

Payroll Giving
Make regular donations through ‘payroll giving’. It’s very tax-efficient for the individual as the donation is taken pre-tax. If you don’t already have a ‘payroll giving’ scheme set up at your place of work, we can help you with the set-up.
Corporate Volunteering
We offer a range of volunteering opportunities at our site in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport for corporate teams.
Sponsorship
We have a number of very attractive sponsorship packages. Sponsor our fundraising or family events, a specialist conference, a piece of equipment, or activity with a charity corporate partnership.
Gift In Kind Donations
We benefit from the generosity of many companies who choose to donate products that will benefit our children and young people, and to our events, either for goody bags or as raffle/auction prizes. If you are able to support us in this way, please get in touch.
