Grants for disabled children

As a Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) charity, the grants that we receive are vital to supporting a charity like Seashell. Grants for disabled children help to make a significant difference to the young adults people we educate, care for and support.

As a SEND charity, the grants we receive are vital to Seashell and help to make a real difference to the children and young people we educate, care for and support.

Special education charity

Seashell is a special education charity and has been supporting some of the most vulnerable children in society for nearly 200 years. In the last year, we have made a vast difference in the lives of many children and young people, with projects such as our inclusive cycle tracks with Seashell Active that provides activities for learning disabilities, our residential homes for respite care and our special needs school for providing tailored support.

Trusts and foundations generously fund significant projects, capital developments and specialist equipment. By supporting a charity, they help us provide the very best education, care and facilities to enable our students and residents to achieve their full potential and live their best lives.

Supporting a Charity

Are you interested in supporting a SEND charity? We welcome enquiries with potential funding partners to discuss our work and projects in further detail. We understand and respect that many trusts and foundations prefer anonymity.

We will work with you to satisfy any requirements should you choose to make a donation to Seashell to provide learning difficulties support, including:

  • Reports, updates and case studies
  • Site visits and meetings with staff and students
  • Acknowledgements in our publications and media
  • Naming rights, where appropriate

How to choose a charity to support

At Seashell, we understand that choosing a charity to support can sometimes be a big task because there are so many worthwhile causes to choose from. But, if you’re interested in supporting a SEND charity, Seashell is a well-respected charity that’s dedicated to supporting the North West and beyond.

We have an array of opportunities that allow for a broad spectrum of funding. If you have some ideas, we’d love to hear them! Simply get in touch and we’d be more than happy to discuss our current projects.

If you’d like to find out more about grants for disabled children, what we do as a SEND charity, or how you can support us, give Dianne a call at 0161 610 0185.
