We had so much fun hosting our Intercollege Sports Day with Natspec and AoC, held at the Sportcity Stadium in Manchester.
15 colleges came together to work in teams, competing in activities like long jump, javelin, basketball, hurdles, bocce and high jump, all adapted to suit a range of complex needs.
“The event supports our young people to keep fit, meet new people, encourage sensory integration, trying new things, making new friends and just being a part of something,” said Maureen, Royal College Manchester Teacher, who organised the event.

Thank you so much to our corporate volunteers who came along to help – we had over 70 people supporting our event, and it makes such a difference.
After the outdoor races, participants received bronze, silver and gold certificates for their performance. Well done everyone – until next year!
