We are looking for a dedicated individual to step into the Night Lead role, supporting our Young Adults throughout the night.
Role summary
As the Night Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the well-being of our young adults, ensuring their needs are met throughout the night hours. You will directly manage the shift leads/seniors and associated staff teams in promoting quality sleep for our young adults. When awake, you will support the team to ensure our young adults are provided with a safe and supportive environment to help them achieve their full potential.
Requirements of the role:
- Level 3 Health and Social Care (CCYP) – Level 5 Health & Social Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
- Good knowledge of CQC regulations and experience of implementing CQC Fundamental Quality Standards for Homes for young adults.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of working with young people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Strong experience of managing a staff team; supervising and completing appraisals with staff in a care setting
- Good written and verbal communication skills, ability to write and maintain reports and children / young people notes
- Communicate effectively with parents/staff/other professionals.
- Flexible approach to work to work to work a day shift to meet with other operational staff.
