We are recruiting a receptionist to join our Facilities team in a part time role of 3 days a week between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Wednesday. This is a very busy front of house role, and duties will include the following:
- Provide a professional, welcoming and efficient front of house service for all external and internal visitors
- Handle incoming calls and calls from the main security gate
- Ensure all visitors are signed in and direct appropriately in line with the Trust’s safeguarding procedures
- Provide safety details to all external visitors in line with health and safety requirements
- Manage the incoming and outgoing post for the Trust
- General administration duties

What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience of delivering a front of house/reception role within an education and/or care setting.
- Experience of operating switchboards, photocopiers, scanners and franking machines
- Excellent interpersonal skills to support visitors coming into the Trust and who communicate over the phone and by electronic means
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and multitask
- Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to provide positive and proactive support service to visitors, managers and departments to create a positive customer centred culture
- Aptitude to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Capability to remain calm in stressful, challenging situations
- Power to listen and take on board key pieces of information and communicate this with relevant Trust staff
- Present a calm, courteous, friendly and professional manner at all times
- GCSE English and Maths grade A-C or level 2 equivalent in literacy and numeracy
