As a Registered Nurse – SEND, you’ll be part of our Outstanding-rated, CQC-registered health team, working across our school, college, and residential settings. You’ll deliver high-quality clinical care, contribute to service development, and support the training and supervision of staff across the Trust.
As a Registered Nurse – SEND, you’ll:
- Deliver specialist care and support for children and young adults with complex health needs
- Administer medication and treatments in line with individual care plans
- Lead and contribute to multi-agency health planning and reviews
- Provide clinical supervision and training to healthcare assistants and staff
- Support health promotion and risk management across the Trust
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to audits and service improvement
- Communicate effectively with families, professionals, and multidisciplinary teams
- Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control standards
What We’re Looking For:
- NMC Registered Nurse
- Strong interest in special educational needs and disability (SEND)
- Experience in assessment, planning, delivery and review of care
- Knowledge of safeguarding, MCA, and child/adolescent development
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively across services
- Excellent communication, emotional intelligence, and IT skills
- Clinical skills in PEG, epilepsy, asthma, diabetes, tracheostomy care
