Our CADS programme offers a wide range of fully inclusive activities as well as health and wellbeing options.
The benefits CADS offers children and young people is proven: as well as developing confidence, self-esteem and health and fitness, CADS encourages friendships to blossom.
Children and young people can try CADS activities during school holidays or more regularly as weekly evening sessions. We offer everything from football to swimming and climbing and art.
CADS climbing
The CADS climbing club is a fully inclusive session for both disabled and non-disabled children. It provides each participant the opportunity to experience time on the climbing wall and also learn essential skills.
Day & Time: Tuesday, 6-7pm
Location: Seashell Sports Hall
Cost: £5 per session
CADS football
CADS football is a fully inclusive session for both disabled and non-disabled children.
Age: 5-11 years, 12 years +
Day & Time: Friday, 6-7pm (5-11 years), 7-8pm (12 years +)
Location: Seashell Sports Hall
Costs: £4 per session
CADS school holidays
CADS school holidays is open to disabled and non-disabled young people aged 5-25 years. Kids can get involved with everything from tennis to swimming to art and cooking. Specialist one to one support for those who need it means that our activities can be accessed by everyone, regardless of disability.
Age: 5-25 years
Dates & Times: October half term, Christmas, February half term, Easter, May half term, summer. Summer dates to be confirmed.
Location: Seashell
Cost: £57.50 per child
Young People’s Gym Sessions
Our fully inclusive fitness suite hosts an exclusive fitness session for young people. The session is supported by our qualified health and fitness coordinator.
Age: 13-18 (18+ with a disability)
Day & Time: Thursday 6.15-7pm, term time only
Location: Fitness Suite, Seashell Royal College Manchester
Cost: £5 per session
