Did you spot us on TV this month?
We were delighted to see our Fundraising and Engagement Ambassador and former student Mollie representing Seashell on a piece on BBC’s Children in Need appeal night.
The show kindly organised for DFS to donate furniture to us, which is being used to kit out the new Family Flat in Sir Norman Stoller Way. This vital amenity means families can stay over at Seashell and spend time with their young person in care.

This isn’t the first time we’ve worked with Children in Need either. Last year we were lucky to receive a visit from BBC Radio 2 presenter Paddy McGuinness, who met with some of our CADS children. Our CADS service sees disabled young people accessing sports and activities during school holidays and on Saturdays. Paddy in particular loved meeting Bailey and his support worker Cameron.
