We believe every young person should be able to experience a festival. So, if our students aren’t able to attend one, we bring it to them with our annual Sights and Sounds Festival!

Our mini festival celebrates all things sensory, with plenty of inclusive activities for all to enjoy. In true festival fashion, we had face painting, temporary tattoos, an ice cream van, fish and chips, cakes and drinks, and a live band.

Our Care Team went all out to create special sensory activities, including a ‘smell and touch tent’ where attendees could feel different textures inside mystery boxes, and try to guess the scent.

Thank you to KK Catering for supplying the tasty fish and chips, and The Garden Club Hire for providing a free indoor nightclub for the second year in a row, where we raved the day away with a fog machine and glowsticks.

It was lovely to have our students and their families spend a windy afternoon with us on Sir Norman Stoller Way. Until next year!
