Heather joined the Royal School Manchester Governing Body as Parent Governor in October 2020, and has served as an Associate Governor from October 2025.
Heather is proud mum to James, who started at Royal School Manchester in 2017, and has since moved to Royal College Manchester.
Heather has worked for over 20 years as a Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Administrator for an Industrial Services company and is grateful to her employer for the flexibility she has been given around James’ needs and the necessary time it takes to attend appointments and the days off due to his condition.
Heather feels lucky to be part of the transformation at Seashell and enjoys the valuable discussions around the needs and future of the students and the Trust.
