Kat is a HR professional whose career has predominantly been within local government.

She has held roles in HR in Housing and Adult Social Care, heading up the HR and OD team for Adult Social Care for a number of years. During this time she lead a series of organisational restructures and transformations. In 2010 she took on responsibility for in‐house social care provider services to people with learning disabilities and older people, and went on to lead the modernisation of these services and the eventual separation of them from the Council in October 2015, becoming Managing Director of the organisation that emerged. She continues to evolve and develop this organisation many years on.

Kat is passionate about making a positive difference and innovating to deliver better outcomes. That extends to volunteering and she does this through her roles at Seashell and as a Trustee of a local Multi Academy Trust. She also plays a role in her local community organising engagement events.

She has two young girls to keep her on her toes and is also a big animal lover with dogs, ponies, rabbits and chickens all a massive part of her family life.
