Neil joined the Board of Directors in February 2021.
An engineer by profession, Neil began his career with the former Hawker Siddeley Aviation aircraft company in 1977 before going on to gain more than 30 years’ experience with BAE Systems, primarily in Manchester and Lancashire, holding three Managing Director posts at the company between 2000 and 2009.
Over the past 20 years he has held a number of non-executive posts, including Chairman of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Services Organisation, where he was awarded the OBE for services to the FCO in 2011, and North West based appointments at the Information Commissioners Office in Wilmslow, East Cheshire NHS Trust in Macclesfield and at Council Services provider SSK in Stockport.
He is currently Chair at Southport & Ormskirk NHS Trust and also at JSSH Limited, a successful family owned construction, maintenance and property management company based in Cheshire.
Neil’s association with Seashell started in the 1990’s when he was a corporate volunteer whilst at British Aerospace in Woodford, and more latterly he supported the Trust’s fundraising efforts by participating in the Strictly Seashell event in 2018.
