Siân is the Registered Manager for our Young Adults services.
Siân has over 14 years experience working with individuals who have epilepsy, learning difficulties, autism, communication and behavioural difficulties. Siân has a Level 3 Diploma for Managers, ILM Level 5 Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring Professional, Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce, British Sign Language Level 2, Level 1 Deaf community and culture and has a BSc in Psychology.
Siân has completed a BILD accredited course in behaviour management and guides staff supporting individuals who present behaviour difficulties. Other relevant qualifications attained include, Active Support Lead coach and trainer, NVQ Safe administration of medication, NVQ Autism Spectrum Conditions, First Aid at Work, Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty, Safeguarding Children and Young People, including Prevent and Channel guidance, Equality & Diversity and Safer recruitment. In addition, Siân has attended a five-day course to be a trained intervenor, enabling her to work with individuals who have multi-sensory impairments.
