Tandy is a Parent Governor on the Royal College Governing Board.
Tandy is the parent of two boys, Otis and Angus. Angus has a unique chromosome abnormality which has resulted in complex learning disabilities and health needs, coupled with the fact that he has a unique syndrome and attends the Royal College on a weekly residential basis.
Tandy has over 14 years’ experience of governance and is currently Co-Chair of Governors at Park Lane Special School, Macclesfield.
Before giving up work to raise a family, Tandy was a Facilities Manager in the City of London in the Financial Sector. Tandy now runs her own Virtual Assistant business which she fits around caring for Angus.
Tandy is passionate about getting the best outcomes for those with additional needs and in her spare time is a keen cricket enthusiast and has recently set up a disability cricket squad at Macclesfield CC, which is now the biggest hub in Cheshire with 15 players and counting.
