It’s been a busy month for our fundraising team and we’re so excited to share the success of our recent events!

Our Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge had an incredible turn out, with 90 people – both staff and supporters – completing the climb for #TeamSeashell. After battling with the wind and the rain, our very determined team completed the challenge covering 25 miles (approximately 65,000 steps) and all under 11 ½ hours!
The event raised a whopping £37,500, and we couldn’t be happier with their hard work and determination.

Our students also completed their own version of the 25 mile challenge by walking, cycling and scooting around the 3 routes onsite the school campus with a sponsored relay.

They all received goodie bags on their final lap, and virtually handed the Seashell baton to the Yorkshire Three Peak walkers before they set off.

The students raised an incredible £1,650.81 in total. We are overwhelmed by their fantastic contribution and their involvement in the challenge.

We also had an impressive presence in the Manchester 10K Run this month, which saw 74 runners competing with Seashell as their chosen charity. The fundraising team were there to cheer them on and keep spirits high, waving the seashell flags and offering refreshments. Sponsorship money is still being collected, but the total so far is £9,771!
