First place winners: The Stoller Charitable Trust

On Tuesday 22 June 2021 Seashell hosted their first live event since the pandemic began in March 2020.
The Seashell Golf Day took place at Wilmslow Golf Club, following its postponement in September 2020.
With thirteen teams participating this year, the event provided Seashell with the opportunity to raise valuable funds, helping the charity continue to provide a safe and happy environment for the children and young people in their care.
The Seashell Golf Day has been a firm favourite in the calendar for over 25 years, with teams competing for the Sue Holman Memorial Trophy.
Sue was a previous Chair at Seashell and loved golf. The Golf Day is a way to celebrate all she did for the charity. Teams come from far and wide to play the challenging course at Wilmslow as well as local corporate partners.

Seashell Head of Fundraising, Dominic Tinner, said: “We are so grateful to be able to host fundraising events again to enable us to plug some of the gap left by cancelled fundraising and increased costs.
“We are thrilled all participants enjoyed the Seashell Golf Day, getting back to some normality and raising funds for our children and young people.”
The tournament was won by the team from The Stoller Charitable Trust, closely followed by HAP Recruitment in second.
Special thanks go to sponsors JW Lees, DPLA and RLN, to the Holman family, to Wilmslow Golf Club and to Terry and Jean Barnes and Jane Middleton.
