Colin joined the Board of Directors in February 2022.

Colin’s career started after leaving school and joining the Royal Military Police, where due to a medical injury he sustained, his RMP career came to a sudden end.

Colin has worked in Information Technology for over 30 years.  He started out as a basic PC engineer and worked his way up through roles, to hold Senior Manager or Director level positions for various companies in the North East.

Colin has been running his own IT Consultancy business for the past ten years where he has consulted and supported both Private and Public sector organisations such as NHS Primary Care Trusts or CCGs, food manufacturing, car manufacturing and aerospace industries.

In the last five years he has consulted for several Central Government bodies such as the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), Disclosure and Baring Service (DBS), National Crime Agency (NCA) and currently holds a senior post within HMCTS reform services (Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunal Services), which is reforming how court cases are improved through appropriate use of technology

Colin has volunteered and participated in charitable events over the years for several charities including Manchester Blood Bikes, Diabetes UK, Cancer Research, and Sportives as a Motorbike Marshall   Colin gives blood and plasma on a regular basis ever since his military career started.

Colin is looking forward to bringing his views on technology to support and enhance the lives of all who attend Seashell, both now and in the future.
