Seashell Swimming Lessons

Seashell Swim School offers disabled swimming sessions and swimming lessons for autistic and disabled children of all abilities aged three and above.

Swim England, Learn to Swim Stage 1-4

Learn to Swim lessons follow the swim England learn to swim framework. Your child will be grouped depending on their swimming ability level. We aim to keep all groups as small as possible to allow a positive experience and to ensure lessons are person centred.

Lessons cost £13.50 per lesson, and we ask for you to pay for a term in advance.

Seashell Supported Swim Lessons

Supported lessons follow either the Swim England learn to swim framework or Halliwick Swim Therapy framework. All groups are kept small and children are grouped with others who have similar needs or swimming goals.

Lessons cost £10.00 per lesson, and we ask for you to pay for a term in advance.

One to One Swimming Lessons

Please note one-to-one lessons are popular and we are currently operating a waiting list

1 to 1 lessons are a great way to support the individual needs of a swimmer.  The lessons allow for 1 to 1 instruction in the water and are suitable for nervous swimmers improving technique and for those who need extra support in the water due to a disability or health condition.

Tuesday, 3.30-7pm, Friday, 3.30-7pm, Saturday, 10am-3pm (term time only)

All lessons are 30 minutes in length

1 to 1 lessons cost £20 per lesson

Family Swimming, 1 x Saturday per month

Family swim is an accessible leisure swim for all the family.  Play equipment is provided so that the participants can enjoy their time in the water. This session is ideal for those with disabilities due to the warm water environment.

Family Swim sessions are £7.50 per person (carer/support worker swims free) – all sessions must be booked in advance

Inclusive Adult Swimming

A fully inclusive general swim session. We have accessible changing rooms, hoists and changing beds. Our pool is 32 degrees temp and 1.2 meters deep.

Monday: 12.15-1pm

Friday: 12.15-1pm

Inclusive Aqua fit

Aqua Fit is a pool based exercise class aimed at people with health conditions and disabilities. The class begins with a warm up and moves on to aerobic exercise to build the fitness in the heart and the lungs, followed by strengthening and toning exercises.  The class ends with a cool down, stretch and relaxation.

Wednesday, 12.15-1pm, £7.50 per session; £38 for 6 sessions block booking.

Hydro Pool: £65.00 per hour
