Free Stockport Sensory Socials

Seashell in partnership with Stockport Council’s Sensory Support Services are holding a free Sensory Story Social for families with preschool age children with hearing loss/are deaf, vision impairment or multi-sensory impairment.

You will be welcomed by our specialist staff, who deliver these fun and informal sessions…join us and find out for yourself!

All sessions are free, and run from 10am-11:30am

Seashell’s Makaton Taster Session provides an introduction to Makaton and how it can support language and communication development.  It is aimed at those interested in finding out more about Makaton and who may be considering attending further training workshops.

Participants will have an opportunity to learn a selection of 40 signs and symbols from the Makaton core vocabulary.

The session is delivered by our specialist Makaton Tutor who is also a member of  Seashell’s Speech and Language Therapy team.
