Clare is Principal of Royal College Manchester.
Clare has over 18 years of experience working with children and young adults in a variety of settings from supporting young people with learning disabilities, Clare has also supported children and young adults with SEMH who are at risk of being NEET and potential to offend, across care, educational settings and within their local communities.
Clare discovered her passion for teaching in 2006 and went on to undertake her teaching training, Clare later discovered her passion for teaching young adult with SEND and continued her career within this area and her BA hons in Business Management.
Clare is passionate about supporting young adults with SEND to empower them to become advocates for their own lives and have the best possible outcomes. All young adults deserve the best possible education and care, and she strives to deliver this throughout her daily practice and work ethic.
Outside of work Clare enjoys keeping herself active and loves spending time outdoors, you can usually find her at the gym, running, climbing a hill or mountain or on her paddleboard. Clare is also a huge advocate and extremely passionate about health and wellbeing and is a qualified gym instructor. Clare believes in access to health for all people and loves to promote this in all aspects of her life.
