Donate to help stop children with disabilities being isolated this Easter holiday

The Easter holidays are a particularly isolating time for many children and young people with disabilities. Without school they can spend the whole holiday at home, isolated from the outside world. It is often impossible for children with disabilities to attend social activities as most holiday clubs don’t have the provision for them. This isolation leads to disabled children being up to four times more likely to feel lonely than non-disabled children.

Seashell runs an inclusive community sports and activities programme during the holidays. Unlike other holiday clubs, we offer 1:1 support which means children with disabilities can get involved in new activities in a safe and supported way.

Help stop isolation and prevent loneliness this holiday.

Children like Charlotte, who has cerebral palsy, felt isolated before coming to our inclusive holiday club. Now she has gained confidence, become more self-assured, made new friends and found her passion for drama.

We want to help more children like Charlotte. You can help us. Choose your gift amount from the below…
