The sessions will run from 6-7pm, on Microsoft Teams on the following dates:
3 December 2025, 4 February 2026, 25 March, 5 May and 7 July.
Jointly delivered by NatSIP, Manchester Sensory Support Service and Seashell Trust, this five day training course, offered over five weeks, provides a practical approach to supporting access to learning for children and young adults with MSI (Deafblindness).
Specialist 5-day MSI course primarily for support staff, covering a wide range of topics including, communication, the role of the intervenor, mobility and independent living skills, sensory processing difficulties and much more. The course meets the requirements of the Intervenor Standards issued by NatSIP.
We can also be commissioned to provide bespoke courses for social care staff working with MSI (Deafblind) young adults up to the age of 25 within their own setting.

We can provide an education and therapeutic package in the home for MSI/complex needs children and young adults who are not currently in an educational setting. They may be out of education for a range of reasons, from medical, parental choice, or be in transition between settings. We will work with the family and other professionals to continue to make progress towards achieving their EHCP outcomes.
We can provide QTMSI support for children and young people within an educational setting who do not have specialist staff employed locally to meet need. QTMSI can provide a functional sensory assessment and
consultancy/training for their staff team as required.
We can be commissioned to observe and assess MSI (Deafblind) learners within their school environment. We will look specifically at accessibility, communication and mobility.
We can be commissioned by social care as the suitably qualified person to conduct this specialist assessment.
We can be commissioned to provide a range of other specialist training courses which includes: On Body Signing, Tactile Communication, HI Complex Needs, VI Complex Needs and MSI condition specific sessions
(CHARGE, Usher, Down Syndrome, Deafblind Awareness, On Body Signing, Hearing Loss & Complex Needs, Vision Loss & Complex Needs).

This one-day introduction to FASD includes: the cause of FASD; its prevalence and terminology, Identification of signs and symptoms across the lifespan that a person with FASD may display, How to get a diagnosis, and Strategies for supporting a person with FASD, including voices from the FASD community.

This three-day innovative course will introduce the “Me and My FASD Toolkit” – a range of practical, hands-on materials specially designed with input from expert committees including young adults with FASD. Participants will receive the toolkit of resources that are aimed to support children and young adults in understanding their diagnosis.
Sessions can be commissioned for schools and organisations that would like to develop their awareness of fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, as well as help children and young adults understand their diagnosis.
